Anger Management
I'm angry. And bitchy right now.
Am I the only one who thinks that stealing concepts from another's blog to post on your own blog should be against the law, unless of course, you give credit where credit is due. Unless of course, it's completely unintentional.
There are times I think of blogging about something, sign on to vox, and realize that because my friend and I think on alot of the same wavelengths, she's already posted something along the same lines...after which I won't post...she's most likely said it better than I would have, anyway.
But then, there are blogs that are geared toward one genre...like celebrity gossip...Tyler and IDLYITW often have the same posts, because they are both geared towards celebrities...but it's glaringly apparent that they have been written by different people with different ideas...
This is something that has been bothering me for about a year..here on my new vox, and on my old vox..and then again on my other blog. I just think it's lazy, sleazy, and inexcusable.
Along the same lines, comments that I've made and posts I have done have inspired some to do complete blogs about it. Seeing my ideas, my thoughts, and sometimes, even my words in another's blog really pisses me off. What happened to respect? What happened to the idea that plagerism was wrong? What happened to giving props to the person or persons that inspired you to write about the concept that they initiated? What happened to coming up with your own ideas and giving voice to them, instead of being all sneaky and underhanded about it.
That's just me though. And I'm angry and bitchy today. It's probably because I didn't get to go to the mountains like Natalie did.
